So I messed around in Photoshop in a serious way just to get back into it, since I haven’t used it in maybe a month, and now that I have it I might as well use it to practice, right?
Anyway, this is a gross old picture of me (maybe three years ago?), first with some rudimentary iPhoto color correction slapped on it, and second with Photoshopping.
Retrospectively, I went a little overboard with the skin retouching, seeing as there’s barely any texture left in it, and I was floundering at fixing the eyebrow, and sweet jesus the eyelashes remind me not to try touching those ever again, but overall I think I’m generally pretty happy with it. I was playing around with different combinations of adjustment layers and layer masks, which was helpful for the saturation of different parts of the picture in this case. So there you have it.
Talent show tomorrow. Cards for friends that they’ll hopefully like. A little bit of a headache.
Tonight in a nutshell.
Okay I swear I’m not grumpy, my smile wasn’t cooperating for some reason and just ugh? Okay.
Anyway, I got a haircut today, which I’m very excited about because I think Janet (my hairdresser) and I finally got it just right with the line and length and errythang, so that’s really cool. She also brought up for the second time if I had ever considered modeling, which made me feel really good.
I also spoke to the teacher briefly about seeing her regarding publishing my poem, but didn’t have the time to have the full discussion; hopefully I’ll be able to sit down with her soon.
And now I’m going to go into my inbox and reply to those two messages I still haven’t responded to, because it’s impolite to leave people hanging.

Anyway it’s only four hours until the dance about and I still don’t know quite what I’m wearing except for that it might end up anywhere between werewolf and and handsome prince or something all I know is there’s capes involved and Tori’s probably doing scar makeup so maybe I can get in on that action and idek what’s even going on today anymore but okay.
